Many people wonder how much solar panels cost and much their solar panels will save them on energy costs each month…

So let’s address both of these common questions right now!…

Fun Fact #1) A solar panel requires just a (small) 1-time initial cost (*This is 10x less than it used to be with the new DIY Home Energy solar panels)…
Solar panels give many benefits to a residential homeowner or renter. Solar panels provides you with clean, cost-efficient (free) energy from the Sun. This will certainly save you money on your energy costs, add value to your home and help the environment.

But the problem for most people is that retail solar panels cost way too much. It normally takes over a decade to make up the initial cost of the solar panel system with the energy savings it provides.

Solar Panel CostsHowever, in the past couple years new technology, cheaper parts and a great How-To course has made it possible to build your own solar panels. That’s what my family and I did. And we’re not builders or “techy people” by any stretch of the imagination.

How is this possible? Well, there are actually very few parts that go into building a professional quality solar panel and the parts are actually quite cheap! If you “Do it yourself” (DIY) then you eliminate about 10x the cost that retail solar panel companies charge you for their mark-up!

Fun Fact #2) How Much Will I Save on my energy costs?

This will depend on the size and power output of your solar panel system. You can create a small system and enjoy energy savings from that while also giving yourself a nice backup energy supply – OR you could create a larger system and essentially eliminate your energy bill (because you have eliminated the need to buy electricity from the energy company). The nice thing is, you can start small and easily scale up later if you choose. You can do this by adding more solar panels to your system.

Recent studies have shown that the people who installed a larger system (that produces most of their home’s power needs) have saved about $20,000 over 20 years. In Hawaii, a recent study shows savings can be up to $60,000!

These savings are significant obviously …and now that the initial cost of using solar panels has dropped so dramatically in recent years (because anyone can build a professional quality solar panel very inexpensively) …that means these savings are now possible for anyone (no matter what their budget is).

The best is yet to come

Solar technology has been improving in leaps and bounds in recent years (which is now the reason DIY solar panels are possible). So while solar power seemed like an expensive and inefficient technology a few years ago;  now it’s a cheap and incredibly efficient way of producing power – and the top choice for people in residential homes that want to produce their own power.

So why not produce your own DIY Home Energy, start enjoying energy savings the 1st day you put up your solar panels – and also ensure your security (and control) over your home and family’s energy supply for the future?…

I’ve got this process down to about 2 hours now. That’s all it takes me to build the solar panels in the DIY Home Energy System.
